Magna-Mike 8600 Thickness Gauge: Accurate Magnetic Measurement for Nonferrous Materials
The Magna-Mike 8600 is a portable and highly reliable thickness gauge designed to measure the thickness of nonferrous materials using a simple yet precise magnetic method. Its straightforward operation, advanced Hall Effect sensing technology, and durable construction make it ideal for industries that require repeatable, non-destructive thickness measurements.
How the Magna-Mike 8600 Works
Simple Magnetic Measurement Method
The Magna-Mike 8600 uses a magnetic probe on one side of the test material and a small target—such as a ball, disk, or wire—placed on the opposite side. As the target is positioned or moves along the material, the probe’s Hall Effect sensor determines the distance to the target.
Instant Digital Thickness Readout
The thickness measurement is instantly displayed on a large, full-color VGA screen, providing clear and highly legible digital results even in challenging lighting environments.
What’s New in the Magna-Mike 8600
1. Enhanced Probe Options
